The Pamphlet of Rastafarian Science
All religions have a book, but in reality, they should only need a pamphlet, so here is the pamphlet of Rastafarian Science based on science, history, personal observations, and a desire to enjoy life while promoting one love and the defeat of stupidity.
The Fight Against Stupid
“Stupid is a bigger threat to good than evil”
-Dietrich Bonhoeffer
People think you have to fight evil; the good news is you don’t have to fight evil; you have to fight stupid, and the bad news is you need to fight stupid. However, not all stupid is the same, and the major stupidities are:
1. Doing something over and over and expecting different results.
2. Doing something that neither benefits you nor is against your self-interest just because it adversely affects someone else.
3. Refusing to understand and consider others.
4. Refusing to think it all the way through.
The Fallacies
Stupid’s best tool is the intellectual fallacy. Rastafarian Science’s best defense against the fallacy is to educate and to train people into recognizing it and how to counter it.
When it comes to intellectual fallacies there are quite a few, and there are websites that are dedicated to the subject,

Definition of Love
We live in a social world. If we look at each interaction in terms of positive and negative effects on our well-being and that with which we are interacting, then there are 9 possibilities of outcomes of interactions with the social world. When both sides benefit, we will define it as love, when both are adversely affected, then we will call that hate.
Now if we adopt the following axioms
-
All are equal under the law.
This is nothing but enlightened self-interest. If all are equal, then while you can’t subjugate, you can’t be subjugated yourself.
-
We owe a debt to the environment.
The air we breathe, the water we drink, and the land that gives us our food all must be respected, and the cycles that sustain us are understood, giving our children the same chance at exploring the wonders and joys that we have to explore.
-
We must enjoy life.
To thy known self be true, there is no reason not to enjoy life, just as much there is no reason.
-
We must promote love.
Again, the enlightened self-interest. There are two attitudes toward society: either we raise ourselves by raising those around us, or we raise ourselves by pushing others down; we chose the former.
-
If we look at love as a sort of social chemical reaction, we can then define a consensus as a solution that creates as much love as possible.

It is that idea that has built our civilizations, although most civilizations aren’t really based on love but rather on exploitation.
It is the purpose of Rastafarian Science to build consensus in a free society in which the problems of society are solved with a consensus that respects the rights of all.

The Morality of One Love
Morality is why we make the decisions we make. If we accept the idea that love is the most desirable outcome, and we base our actions on achieving happiness while raising those around us and respecting the environment, we suggest the following commandments:
1. Treat everyone with respect until they give you a reason not to.
This is nothing but enlightened self-interest. If all are equal, then while you can’t subjugate, you then can’t be subjugated yourself.
2. Do not lie, cheat, steal, or tolerate those who do. Drive a fair deal and keep your word, expect the same in others, or deal with it appropriately.
3. We owe a debt to the environment.
The air we breathe, the water we drink, and the land that gives us our food all must be respected, and the cycles that sustain us are understood, giving our children the same chance to explore the wonders and joys that we have to explore.
4. We should enjoy life.
To thy known self be true, there is no reason not to enjoy life, just as much there is a reason to help those that help you.
5. We should promote love and gain enlightened self-interest. There are two attitudes toward society: either we raise ourselves by raising those around us or raise ourselves by pushing others down; we choose the former.
6. Try not to be stupid. Think it through, remember the fallacies, learn from your mistakes, and don’t make the same mistake twice.
